2000 years of history
Find out what lies under our feet and what we regularly miss above our heads.
Barri Gòtic or the 'Gothic Quarter' is the oldest part of the city, originally founded by the Romans. Excavations, hidden churches, art galleries, authentic stores, and the most narrow alleys that make you feel you're walking through the middle ages.
'El Raval', the former suburb and most multicultural area of Barcelona. Colorful street art and hidden gems are spicing up the streets of this varied neighborhood. And besides all that, it has the oldest, the biggest and most beautiful food market in town, 'La Boqueria' on the famous 'La Rambla' street.
'El Born', an area with artistic character. From local boutique shops to art galleries, from authentic bars to fancy dinner places, from romantic wine bars to hip delicacy stores. And all of this in combination with the interesting history and incredible stories.
