Gaudí Bike Tour Barcelona

Gaudí’s masterpieces like Sagrada Familia, other highlights, hidden gems and much more. Discover the advantages of Barcelona by bike.

More fun on a bike!

Gaudí's work is one of the things that makes Barcelona unique. But there is so much artistic beauty to see, and the best way to do that is on a bike!

You discover much more by bicycle than with any other means of transport. You can cover more kilometers than on foot, you enter narrow alleys and hidden squares that are not accessible by car and as an extra bonus you get a nice breeze through your hair and you hear the sounds of Barcelona that you do not hear when you go by public transport.

Luckily Barcelona is perfect for cycling with the infrastructure containing over 200 km of bike lanes. And since Gaudí’s masterpieces are scattered around the city, this will be the way to discover them!

Fun Fact: Take the bike instead of the car, a 16-kilometer ride (10 miles) burns 360 calories, saves up to 10 euros of budget and saves the environment from 5 kilos (11 pounds) of carbon dioxide emissions that are produced by cars.

  • We highly recommend Marit as a guide. Our bike tour with Marit was the perfect introduction to Barcelona. She easily modified the tour based on our request for more neighborhoods and less Gaudi. We felt secure following behind her. She was a very confident rider.

  • My boyfriend and I went on a private bike tour and it was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend taking a tour at the beginning, because then she will show you many amazing food spots, bars, and places to visit. We were able to plan the next few days of our trip with her expert advice.

  • We thought Marit was a special tour guide. She was so warm and friendly with our kids, really involved them in the tour and even stopped at a local playground to give them play time. The tour itself was fun and the last stop was worth every penny of the cost. Highly recommended

Are the tours private?
Yes, all the tours by Marit are private tours. Meaning you will be with your group only.
Do I need travel insurance?
While travel insurance is not required, I highly recommend that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy prior to departure. La Vida Barcelona does not offer travel insurance, and cannot be held responsible in case of damage or accidents. If you do purchase travel insurance, please review your policy carefully for specific terms and conditions.
